Glenwood Canyon is a testament to the beauty that can be created by using modern day engineering to help us adapt and thrive in the environments which we choose to inhabit. Every local has their favorite spot in the canyon, and with that favorite spot comes a number of tales, some passed down from generations and others recently experienced first hand. We invite you to come visit the canyon for yourself and create your own tales.
You can hike up the trail to Hanging Lake and witness the stunning clarity of the water with your own eyes. You can road bike right along side the snake-like winding of the Colorado River and ponder how the water that gives us life can take on destructive characteristics in the right environment. You can go fishing along the banks of the Colorado River or Grizzly Creek and try to catch fish before the Dipper birds swoop them up from under you. You can white water raft through the Canyon and enjoy an exhilarating afternoon.
